Cost of compliance with prudential reporting / EBA

The EBA is mandated, in accordance with Article 430 (8) of the CRR to measure the costs that institutions incur when complying with prudential reporting obligations, and in particular those defined in the EBA TSIs on prudential reports.

The EBA is also responsible for assessing whether these reporting costs are commensurate with the benefits provided for supervisory purposes and for making recommendations on how to reduce the cost of reporting at least for small, non-complex institutions. The results of this analysis must be formulated in a report (study of the cost of compliance) and submitted to the European Commission.

This page gives an overview of this project and contains all the materials related to the different stages of the study.
