SARs Annual Statistical Report 2023

There are a few interesting stats:

SAR filings have DROPPED year on year : 5% drop YoY - From 901,255 (2021-2022) to 859,905 (2022-2023)

Funds denied from DAMLs : 11% drop YoY - From £305.7M (2021-2022) to 275.7M (2022-2023)

Total DAMLs received : 11% drop YoY - From 83,300 (2021-2022) to 74,431 (2022-2023)

There has been an increase in breaches in confidentiality from 0 cases in 2021 to 2022 to 7 cases in 2022-2023 : 700% increase YoY. It would be interesting to see the use cases for these breaches.
